Tom is the technical lead at Lightbox, helping to shape the businesses approach to web development, plan and scope new projects, and assist in delivering quality for our clients.
Having been with the business for 5 years, Tom originally joined as a junior developer on the back of graduating from Aston University with a degree in Multimedia Computing (where he was also awarded a certificate for the most innovative final year project). Tom has not only seen it all but has also been an integral part of a team which has delivered countless fantastic digital projects. Living by the mantra of always making your next project the best work you’ve ever delivered, Tom is a stickler for detail and quality, and works closely with the rest of the development department to constantly improve and refine the way Lightbox work.
Away from Lightbox Tom is an avid fan of football, supporting Chelsea FC (and is keen to stress he begun supporting the club pre Abramovich era). Outside of work Tom also plays drums for various musicians and he’s also a Guinness World Record holder! – In 2012 he performed with 500 other drummers at the NIA, in aid of the MS Society.
“As a developer I live by the mantra of always making your next project the best work you've ever produced. This way the quality of work only ever increases and improves.”
