Lightbox Shortlisted in the Midlands Business, Community and Charity Awards

2019 has so far been

a tremendous year of growth and development for Lightbox, and there are no signs of this stopping anytime

soon as we have received news that Lightbox has reached the finals for the ‘Outstanding Business of the Year’ award in the Midlands Business, Community and Charity Awards.

We were first

nominated to the award in June before votes were put to the general public, and we are delighted to be one of seven finalists for the title alongside businesses including Sketch Creative and Bottega Birmingham.

Not only is Lightbox as a whole up for an award, but our Commercial Director, PJ Ellis is also up for the ‘Role Model of the Year’ award. PJ has continued to support the business community in Birmingham personally, and also through LoveBrum that was an initiative created to help support hidden gem projects across the city.

When asked about his nomination, PJ said “I always try to be nice, and help as many other people out as possible; whether that be via my charity work, mentoring, voluntary board positions, or just day-to-day. If this helps make other people do similar things then I am truly humbled. I’m looking forward to a wonderful evening spent with some wonderful local people. Good luck to all involved”.

We feel honoured to be finalists and look forward to finding out the final results on November 16th. Good luck to all of the other nominees!

Lightbox has been shortlisted for Outstanding Business of the Year in the MBCC Awards, and Commercial Director, PJ Ellis, has also been recognised for all of his hard work in and around the business community by making the shortlist for the Role Model of the Year award.
