With 5000 global readers per day, BizAsia is the largest Asian news website for media and showbiz. BizAsia came to us wanting to move away from their previous website that was cluttered and poorly presented; not only this but their old site wasn’t mobile friendly and BizAsia recognised that this digital demand couldn’t be ignored.
BizAsia wanted a complete brand revamp as well as a realigned digital presence. A dynamic and clean website was needed in order to keep up with the demands of their readership numbers.The client wanted a mobile-friendly website that allowed full social integration with their articles and also catered for the existing advertising contracts they had in place. Our task was to reposition them as a more contemporary entity without losing the purpose of the BizAsia brand.

What we did.
We delivered a completely responsive site for desktop and a mobile version for BizAsia; with the website detecting what device a reader is using making it a relevant and manageable experience for the user. We understood that functionality is key for mobile readers so a clean mobile design was necessary.
Thinking carefully about the positioning of ads, we integrated them into the build creating a perfect balance between advertisements and content. By giving BizAsia an extremely flexible CMS, we allowed them to add video and content areas whilst ensuring a consistent structure remains visible through the site as well as providing their writers with an advanced article builder making it even easier to publish work.
The BizAsia website has completely redefined the online experience for their readers. With the advanced search functionality and well-defined categories, navigation around the site has vastly improved.
Readers have the opportunity to sign up to a daily or weekly newsletter which requires no background work from the client as the emails have been automated and pull in the relevant articles when necessary.

BizAsia generate revenue through media advertising contracts. It was important that the new BizAsia website incorporated flexible advertising areas throughout that aligned with their existing advertising contracts to keep their clients happy. We also designed further advertising areas into the website enabling the BisAsia to offer their clients more visibility to their global readership.
The BizAsia website is fully integrated into their social media channels. When writers from around the world post an article, the article is automatically published to the BizAsia Facebook and Twitter channels completely removing the manual process.
We developed a bespoke article builder that allows BizAsia a library of media options when creating an article. These include – Embedded video, Twitter cards, a variety of image and text compositions.
This enables BizAsia to maintain a consistent level of quality for their articles as well offer their writer the flexibility to make their articles engaging.
