Over the last few weeks, I have had a number of meetings with clients and potential clients asking why their website has dropped down the google page listing.

Are you one of these companies?

Tasked with explaining SEO and Google algorithms in simple terms is pretty tricky, but what I do say is that ‘falsifying’ and creating links to boost your profile on Google will only ever be a quick win as you’re going up against Google. The problems occur because what works today may not work tomorrow when Google decides to introduce us to another animal update. We have seen this particularly over the last  year and a half with various Panda and Penguin updates and the introduction of the Hummingbird algorithm. Your SEO strategy may of been affected?

So is SEO dead?

Technically no, but wouldn’t you want to invest your hard earned money into a service that’s longer lasting?

We encourage our clients to consider PR over SEO as it has additional benefits than google ranking and creates a continual conversation between the company and the customer.

Using Digital PR and traditional techniques your company will benefit from significant web traffic increase, improved customer engagement, enhanced branding and superior differentiation in your sector.

PR isn’t just for big businesses, SME’s can get in on the act too – just like HNS Signs who are benefitting from significant web traffic at the moment and more importantly more sales enquiries.
