Together, we’re pioneering a school for a truly diverse and inclusive student community that creates great citizens.

We were approached by the University of Birmingham School to transform their digital asset and reposition them as a thought-leading, pioneering school. It was important that the new website told their story and delivered a unique experience to visitors.

It was a fundamental requirement that the new website delivered important information to parents, offered all pupils a vibrant platform of information and attract / convert new sixth form students to the school. We also supported the school with the full roll-out of their new brand identity across all platforms.

We conducted a digital workshop to fully understand the requirements of the project and the varying audience groups.

This knowledge would allow us to develop a content hierarchy throughout each user experience to deliver the required information quickly.

Plan

Planning throughout the website project and the activation of all of the printed collateral was crucial to ensure that all deadlines were met and products were delivered in a timely manner.

Sketching is the quickest way to try out ideas and visualise them before entering the design phase. This works well whether it be a design for print or website.

Design

The application of the new University of Birmingham School brand provided us with the freedom to truly bring the brand to life across a variety of mediums which included their website, prospectus, remarketing campaigns, brochures, flyers, editorial templates, stationery and much more.

Visually, it was incredible to steer the brand and create visual cohesion and purpose across all of the created collateral.

Following the launch of the website, we created and launched a multi-channel digital marketing campaign to attract prospective sixth form students.

The campaign encompassed SEO, Social Advertising targeting specific demographic groups and Remarketing to the same.

Measure

As a result of us running a series of analytical reports we were able to effectively measure the results of a series of remarketing campaigns in order to both increase interest and the number of sixth form applications.

The campaign resulted in:
• 475,000 website impressions costing £0.004 per impression.

• 1,289 Sixth Form page visits from Facebook campaign costing £0.16 per visit.
