What a talk.

“I can’t imagine anything worse than being seen, never mind being known “

Not the words you would expect to hear from a woman like Leah Shutkever – Europe’s No.1 Competitive eater, and holder of 28 official Guinness World Records.

We got that wrong ☝️☝️ It’s 28!!!!

Leah’s bio-in-20-seconds could read:

Today, Leah has over 2m followers on social media, over 100 million video views, is Europe’s No1 Female Competitive Eater, and has been featured in the Guinness World Records book for the past 3 years.

She can smash 3 boiled eggs in 7.8 seconds, a subway footlong in 50 seconds, and medium Dominos in under a minute.

Oh, and over 9m people have seen a video of her swallowing an orange. WHOLE.

Told you.

There was a real buzz in the air. And the cameras were ready to roll.

130 people registered to come and say hello.

Look how happy we were.

And Leah did not let us down.

Selfies were doing their rounds.

And the food rocked as usual.

But WHAT A TALK!!

It had anything.

From architect to social media influencer and full time content creator. Oh and repping Team GB and competing all across the world in the middle.

We spoke about resilience, motivations, family and fooooooood.

How did you know you could swallow an egg whole?

How do you monetise YouTube?

What’s the difference between Leah Shutkever and ‘The Shuts”?

We could have gone on forever.

Leah, you were/are marvelous and a living example of how we all still have time to chase our dreams.
