stretchNav.js – jQuery Plugin to Easily Make Navigations Stretch
29th August 2014
We’ve released a really useful jQuery plugin that we have used internally for a while, it allows developers to quickly make navigations stretch to the width of their container. With a few useful options you can make it target the list elements or the anchor elements of a list, and then decide whether to apply padding or margin to space the elements out – it then even provides you with the option to apply (or not) padding or margin to the “ends” (left of the first element and right of the last element).
Our plugin also recalculates on resize and has a handy threshold parameter which can be adjusted to limit the amount of time in between recalculations (100ms by default).
